Took the opportunity to highlight the fantastic role that sports clubs across my constituency play in keeping us all fit and active, amongst them Blantyre Victoria Community Club, Blantyre Soccer Academy, Cambuslang Rangers F.C., Rutherglen Glencairn FC, Rutherglen Girls Football Club and Rutherglen Lawn Tennis Club.
Last night I voted to stop the devolution-wrecking Internal Market Bill, which is nothing short of an outright attack on the powers of our Scottish Parliament. Independence is the only way to fully protect the powers of the Scottish Parliament for the future.
The Chancellor's replacements for the furlough and self-employed income support schemes provide much less support to struggling firms, leaving them with the awful choice of closure or mass redundancies. The support isn't anywhere near the same league as the extended French and German schemes, which we could emulate as an independent country.
Cambuslang Community Council are leading the charge on the Community Access to Cash pilot, and they are looking for your views on their plans for a new banking hub in Cambuslang Main Street.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning is a much-loved annual event where MPs host their constituents for coffee and cake whilst raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Now in its 30th year, the charity fun...Armed forces personnel serving overseas do an incredibly difficult job, but the UK Government's legislation to protect them from vexatious claims risks undermining fundamental human rights protections. It is another example of the UK Government trying to avoid international law in a specific and limited way.
