On the 18th of March I was happy to participate in a House debate on the deteriorating human rights situation in Sri Lanka.
I raised several issues, including the continued lack of accountability from state officials credibly accused of committing war crimes, and the problematic continuation of military cooperation with Sri Lanka by the UK Government even as the attitude of the state, military and judiciary towards human rights violations in Sri Lanka largely does not change.
You may read my speech on this matter on Hansard.
