South Lanarkshire Council have today opened their public consultation on proposed changes to the catchment areas for Newton Farm Primary School and Hallside Primary School.

The changes the Council are seeking are to balance pupil numbers more effectively within the two schools and to change the secondary school affected pupils would attend from Uddingston Grammar to Cathkin High. The consultation will be open from today, Monday 25^th October, to Monday 6^th December 2021. South Lanarkshire Council will also be holding two public virtual meetings to discuss the proposals on 9^th and 10^th November.
